Quality Control

As a QC Intern, you will be introduced to the QC area of the Milan plant, having the opportunity to interact with multiple departments such as Production, Process Lab and the R&D. You will receive a technical overview of how a leading coating product on the world market is produced and how it is tested and, in addiition, training on basic colorimetry which guides the visual and instrumental methods of evaluating paint products, other than the related equipment and machinery.

**Activities**:

- Support your tutor in the initial phase of the project to gain competence and gradually autonomy in the activities
- Learn the fundamentals of the testing process of a solvent-based and water-based toner and receive information on the production process to be aware of the role of the QC
- Support the Project Manager in carrying out tests according to the work plan, priorities and objectives on the products involved
- Assists higher level technicians in setup of laboratory equipment and in recording data for experiments and procedures
- Taking part in performing routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments

**Qualifications**:

- High-School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
- Being accurate and self-organized
- Good command of the MS Office suite
- Ability to prepare graphs and presentations
- Statistical skills are not essential but appreciated for a full understanding of the project
