Position Purpose

The KA Trade Marketing Specialist will define and develop a strategic Trade Marketing plan for some of the major Alcon Vision Care brands to enhance the visibility, distribution and sales.

Major Accountabilities
- Define and develop customized plans and tailor-made activities for customers
- Analytical and qualitative monitoring of in-store activities to maximize sell out impact and ROI
- Collaboration with the international team for updates share of the best practices, objectives, results, etc.
- Management of trade marketing budget for the assigned clients
- Develop Trade marketing activities in line with the brand strategy and working with external agencies.
- Close cooperation with Regulatory and Legal team for the adherence of the internal approval processes.
- Constant analysis of market data and preparation of ad hoc analyses
- Data performance management regarding contract rewards and its administration.
- New products’ launch process support (private labels).
- Strong collaboration and support of the sales team (sales materials creation, sales meetings participation, etc)
- Organization of special events for clients (admin and logistics)

What you bring to Alcon:

- At least 3 years’ experience in marketing, trade or sales, preferably gained in FMCG companies
- University degree (in Marketing, Economy or Business Administration)
- Results and performance driven mindset
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Power-point are a must)
- Ability to manage priorities and respect deadlines
- Analytical & Innovative thinking
- Effective communication
- Collaboration and Team work
- Fluency in Italian and English
