For our Aprilia production site, we are looking for an **EHS Officer**.

**The role**:

- Monitors compliance of employees with company rules and regulations on safety and the use of collective and individual means of protection made available to them.
- Conducts the safety trainings provided to new employees.
- Carries out inspections to verify the effectiveness of the company's safety and environmental management system..
- Maintain full compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and company policies on EHS (ISO standard-ISO 14001, Legislative Decree no. 231, and OHSAS 18001/ISO4500).
- Collaborates in the drafting, revision, and periodic update of all system documentation (e.g., standard operating procedures, risk assessment document, safety and coordination plans, emergency plan, etc).
- Participates in the analysis of incidents (recordable injuries), including near-miss cases, to highlight any trends, identify possible causes of the incident, mitigate risk situations, and prepare necessary preventive and/or corrective measures.
- Collaborates with the RSPP (Responsible for Prevention and Protection Services) to develop the required intervention plans for the continuous improvement of safety standards and to verify safety conditions, hygiene of premises, machinery, and plant equipment.
- Provides operational support to resolve any EHS non-compliance issues.
- Partners with other company functions to monitor the proper management and disposal of waste, including wastewater treatment, in accordance with applicable regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Scientific degree (environmental engineering, Health & Safety management, chemistry, biochemistry, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced production industry (preference for pharmaceutical experience).
- Speaks fluent Italian. English is an asset.
- Able to present trainings to large groups.
