OMLP accelerates the development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing our Global Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, materials, and quality) functions at Avio Aero. We offer a permanent contract for this role.

**Essential Responsibilities**:
OMLP is a 2-year program consisting of:

- Three 8-month rotations that allow members to build hands-on leadership and functional skills across Avio Aero’s Global Supply Chain through challenging rotational assignments
- Functional expertise training in the domain of GE Aviation’s Global Supply Chain (e.g., manufacturing economics workshop)
- Leadership & Personal Development modules (through GE Aviation’s Leadership Program academy called Aviation Foundations).

There are 3 mandatory rotation types every OMLP will complete:

- Technical _(e.g., quality engineer, manufacturing engineer)_
- Sourcing/Materials Management _(e.g., buyer, contracts administrator, LEAN logistics specialist)_
- Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor _(i.e., people leader of hourly workforce)_

During these rotations, an OMLP typically will:

- Collaborate with their Assignment Leader in setting and achieving realistic and challenging goals
- Plan and perform assigned tasks aligned to the business’s priorities and core tenets of safety, quality, delivery and cost (SQDC)
- Develop cooperation and teamwork while leading diverse groups in the development and implementation of team goals

N.B. Domestic relocation is typically required while on program.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Master’s Degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace, Mechanical, Energy, Materials or Management Engineering from an accredited University or college
- Outstanding academic achievements - Top 25% class (final grade minimum 104/110 or GPA 3 out of 4)
- Previous junior experience (e.g., co-op, intern), preferably in manufacturing/Global Supply Chain
- English and Italian fluency, written and verbal
- EU Work Permit
- Geographic flexibility and global mindset with a willingness and ability to work in any of Avio Aero’s 4 manufacturing locations in Italy
- Knowledge of technical drawings
- Deep passion for aviation/aerospace plus strong commitment for a career in Global Supply Chain
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills coupled with the ability to connect with all levels of the organisation showing openness, transparency & humility
- Strong curiosity to learn
- Able to own a/o coordinate many tasks concurrently with high execution & follow-through
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to breakdown the issues and formulate plans to address and rectify situations in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to solve problems and make meaningful change benefiting our customers, people, and organisation in a team/manufacturing environment

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Previous study or working experience abroad will be considered as a plus
- Previous work experience in aviation/aerospace will be considered as a plus
