The Senior Formulation Project Leader must have a strong background in solid oral formulation development and production, especially for the most traditional technologies such as blending, granulation, tableting, capsule filling and coating. In addition, previous experience in enabling technologies, such as hot melt extrusion, spray drying, wet bead milling, SEDDS/SMEDDS and experience in development of formulation for inhalation products is recommended.

He /she will participate to the achievement of the Formulation Department goals, mainly through products formulation but also with the manufacturing of pilot batches.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and execute experiments and processes necessary for developing formulations of pharmaceuticals for oral and inhalation solid dosage forms writing supporting documentation such as experimental protocols and reports.
- Lead as technical representative on project team for formulation discipline for the assigned projects working in a matrix environment with the other departments involved in the development.
- Plan and execution of various projects in collaboration with the formulation team leader in order to progress activities in line with project and client plan.
- Promote the innovation of the technology and the scientific understanding of the product development area (both formulation and process technologies).

**Requirements**:

- Degree or PhD in appropriate Technical fields.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in industrial pharmaceutical formulations are required.
- Strong background in formulation development both for conventional approaches and bio-enhanced ones.
- Commitment to the assigned deadlines and ability to deliver tight deadlines.
- Effective communication, both verbally and in written form, to Sponsors as well as members of internal teams.
- Familiar with cGMP guidelines.
- English intermediate level is required.
