**Position Summary**:
We’re looking for a **Material Planning Manager** in **Reggio Emilia** Location.

**Main opportunities and challenges**:
We offer a proactive environment to ensure day by day a continuous improvement about every aspects of Plant.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Proactive approach to manage the team, define and ensure the development plan in every aspect.
- Working with suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials and resolving any issues related to supplier performance, such as quality problems.
- Coordinating with other departments and project managers the suppliers development projects (e.g. phase in/phase out, Logistic agreement, potential crisis distrupts freight traffic) and resolve roadblocks.
- Managing inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Analyzing demand forecasts to anticipate material needs and adjust inventory accordingly.
- Tracking and managing the movement of materials from suppliers to production.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and reduce costs.

**Job Position Requirements**:
**Education**: University bachelor degree - Mechanical or management engineering

**Hard skills & Soft Skills**

Essential:

- Bachelor’s degree in Management or relevant field.
- Team building
- Problem solving
- Fluent in Italian and English (Written and spoken on a daily base - B2)
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of Supply Chain
- Strong organizational skills
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Should demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities.

Considered as a plus:

- 3+ years of experience as a Material Planner higher position in a manufacturing company.
- SAP ERP ( module WM, MM, PP)
- APICS certificate
