Postdoctoral Researcher

**Postdoctoral Researcher / Ricercatore**

The **Paediatric High-Grade Glioma Group**, led by Dr Maria Vinci, at the **Bambino Gesù Children’s**
- validated with a drug screen.

2D/3D in vitro cultures, ex vivo and in vivo models.

The position will be funded by **a grant from AIRC**, the Italian Foundation for Cancer Research, with an initial appointment for 12 months with the possibility to be extended up to 3 years.

**PostDoc position required laboratory skills**:

- proven experience in CRISPR gene editing and drug screens
- strong experience in molecular biology and biochemical assays (RNA and DNA isolation, cloning, qPCR, western botting)
- experience with primary cell culture techniques is preferred but not essential
- excellent ability to analyse and present data
- a record of productivity and good publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Outstanding degree PhD and MSc in the area of Biology, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology,

Biomedicine, Biochemistry or similar
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong motivation, dedication and enthusiasm to work on paediatric research oncology
- Great problem-solving attitude
- Strong ability to work independently but with an excellent attitude to work in a team is essential
- Good English proficiency

**Salary**: €1,700.00 - €2,000.00 per month
