For** **Julius Meinl Coffee Group**, one of the oldest coffee roasters in the world and an **iconic Vienna coffee house brand**, founded in 1862, we are seeking a:
**DEMAND PLANNING MANAGER**

Demand Planning Manager will operate in a **highly cross-functional team** environment and strive for planning and inventory management improvement, reporting to the Head of Sales&Operations Planning.

**WHAT YOU WILL FOCUS ON**:

- Manage sales forecast accuracy by implementing of new tools and accuracy reviews to drive service level improvements and increase inventory turns (reports and dashboards)
- Effective inventory management and continuous performance increase in line with targets
- Guard against overstocking, to free up company’s cash and decrease logistic costs
- Aggregate group forecasting data and prepare forecasts for our global suppliers
- Guide root cause analysis to understand forecast error and implement improvement actions
- Interact with sales and marketing teams to understand main demand forecast drivers
- Work on production planning in line with defined KPIs
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and ensure these insights are addressed through adequate ideas and plans
- Involvement in portfolio transition plans and projects
- Analyze and troubleshoot demand related issues in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist in developing annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives
- Work on the transformation of processes through digitalization

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**:

- Bachelor degree minimum, ideally in Supply Chain Management
- 2-5 years of reporting experience in business analytics
- Superior MS **Excel** skills (VBA is an advantage)
- Knowledge of **SAP**:

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent in **English**
