Global Compliance Transparency Specialist

**Job Description Summary**: The Global Compliance Transparency Specialist will provide leadership and oversight to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance. They will ensure appropriate mechanisms are in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations, and adherence to corporate programs and practices.

This role will focus on data management and reconciliation, analytics and insight generation as well as leverage these insights to recommend and implement process improvements. During the disclosure periods, they will manage EMEA reporting/submissions and be the primary day-to-day point of contact for detailed preparation and readiness activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Non-lawyers providing leadership and oversight to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance. Insures appropriate mechanisms are in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations, and adherence to corporate programs and practices.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Uses some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- This role requires basic experience in the Legal & Healthcare Compliance & Regulatory. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Law degree, post-graduate degree in business or another relevant field, or a financial/controllership background is a plus.
- This individual must have a proven record of being thorough, fair, and objective with attention to detail, and timely and adapt easily to working in a diverse and multicultural work environment.
- Word, Power Point and Excel skills are required.
- Professional fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of key laws/regulations (e.g., FCPA and other global anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws/regulations, AKS/FCA) and/or core GEHC compliance processes, policies/procedures, tools, and controls.GE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
