This role sits within the busy and growing Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Marketing Team, reporting to the Italy country leader for Food Safety. The main area of responsibility is localizing and executing regional marketing campaigns for Neogen’s Food Safety portfolio for Italy, as well as driving local initiative. This role works closely with Italy Commercial team, and other Marketing functions in EMEA, in particular Portfolio, Digital, Conferencing & Events.

We are looking for experienced marketers who are commercially astute with an eagerness to learn, team players with strong interpersonal skills.

What you’ll be doing:

- Lead localization and implementation of global or regional campaigns to generate demand at end-users and/or channel
- Responsible for local marketing promotion planning and implementation
- Execution of marketing campaigns, product launches and initiatives in alignment with regional EMEA marketing, to deploy active promotion of agreed products through appropriate channels
- Lead local assessment and provide input into regional marketing and product/portfolio teams on competitive, customer and media platform trends
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders as required on NPI processes as required to plan and execute the successful launch of products in the region
- Communicate new product material, programs, and promotions to field sales
- Identify opportunities to leverage local marketing channels including social media, general media, and key platforms for communications
- Work closely with regional EMEA Marketing team, in country Salespeople and Professional Services
- Assist in carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness at country level
- Review marketing reports and data to identify trends and actionable conclusions for ongoing improvement of ROI and key metrics in the country
- Translation of materials & coordinate proof reading with the external agency
- Assist in writing and editing persuasive marketing materials such as newsletters, web content, promotion materials and customer communication

About you:

- You have 5+ years’ experience in a marketing role
- You possess previous experience in the Food Safety Business ideally, or more broadly in a Life Science market segment.
- You are fluent in English and Italian, including written communication
- You have sound understanding of core and digital marketing principles
- You have strong oral and written communication skills
- You possess excellent organization and project management skills
- You are deadline-driven, well-organised, focused, self-disciplined, and pragmatic, with the ability to prioritise workload and recognise when detail really matters
- You have a can-do, enthusiastic, collaborative, and friendly attitude with a strong desire to improve own skills base and can find improved ways of working for the benefit of the business
- International experience is welcomed, with a real ambition to work with people from different cultures
- You are very proficient in Microsoft packages including word, excel and powerpoint
