Become a part of our international Operations team at one of our locations in Segrate (Milan), Italy. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime as Project Coordinator

**Your duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Handling and managing general cargo and project shipments, incl. full operational (technical) and cost control / profitability (commercial) aspects
- Serving as a point of contact for clients, partners and other offices for any project operations-related issues
- Shipping all kind of cargo, incl. out-of-gauge and heavy lift cargo across the globe
- Coordinating and negotiating with subcontractors, sourcing competitive rates from potential subcontractors
- Calculating and monitoring project profits
- Supporting sales team in writing up offers and proposals to clients
- Administration and support in daily business activities in a global business environment
- Supporting management (local and regional) in reporting, etc.

**Your contribution**:

- Successfully completed training in the field of freight forwarding
- Work experience in the freight forwarding industry, minimum 5 years
- Proven track record of successfully executed logistics operations, coordination and management
- Know-how in freight forwarding; experience in ocean freight, incl. break bulk, is an advantage
- Familiarization with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good organizational skills, customer-focused with attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural)
- Able to communicate in English, both written and verbal
