Key elements include back office activities, organized to provide maximum efficiency; advanced reporting systems and sophisticated technological infrastructures. The company also acts as a holding company, retaining share capital in the boutiques and Generali Investments’ companies.

Within the Asset and Wealth Management Business Unit the Compliance team primarily ensures the regular and timely fulfillment of the core compliance duties typically entrusted to the Compliance Functions of GIAM, GIP and GRE SGR in accordance with the relevant Banca d’Italia and CONSOB regulations.

Reporting to the Asset & Wealth Management Business Unit Compliance Officer, the Compliance team guarantees the respect of policies and regulations.
- report to the Head of Asset & Wealth Management Compliance Unit
- support the definition of, and implement, the annual compliance plan of the Italian-based asset management companies specialized in liquid assets and their foreign branches by timely performing the requested compliance advisory, monitoring and control activities and drafting the relevant control reports, in full coordination with Compliance Team resources both in Italy and abroad
- support the drafting of the half-year and annual Compliance Reports for said Italian-based asset management companies
- liaise with BU Compliance Community abroad, in relation to compliance-related matters regarding any of the Group Italian and foreign entity belonging to the “Product&Distribution” stream of the Asset & Wealth Management perimeter
- support in implementing and performing controls for any Group-related compliance topics (such as, for instance, Group Compliance policies, Code of Conduct, Related Parties Transactions)
- support local projects and initiatives related to product development and distribution, with a specific focus on the related ESG aspects.

**Requirements**:

- University level degree or comparable, preferably in law, business administration or finance/economics
- Second level Master degree in compliance or internal control system-related topics would be an asset
- Italian and Fluent English are minimum requirements, additional languages (French/ German) will be considered a plus
- Successful track record of at least 7 years in prior similar or connected functions (*preferably, control functions such as internal audit and compliance but also other functions if connected with real estate practice areas)
- General knowledge of the European and Italian legal environment, with a specific focus on product governance, distribution and ESG-related regulations
- General knowledge of internal control systems and processes commonly adopted in the asset management industry
- General knowledge of Luxembourg law will be considered a plus
