Product Specialist is responsible for leading the successful implementation of Italian marketing strategy for the product portfolio he/she is managing. He/she assists customers in optimizing the use of assigned products, ensure clinical in-service assistance with technical support in the operating room.

Marketing programs implementation. Promotions, presentations, launching:He/she conducts clinical and technical training programs for internal Sales Team and customers, manages and coordinates product introductions with appropriate technical documentation, contributes to organize scientific events and seminars.

Accountable for the achievement of sales and market share annual goals for his/her product portfolio, it requires him/her to work closely with Sales Teams to offer them appropriate support, he/she helps address obstacles and issues, and he/she his present on the field with reactivity.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Primary duties are:

- To assist and to train customers bringing marketing and product expertise at local level, he/she is involved in direct contacts with customers. He/she communicates with them to understand their clinical practice and needs to assist them to optimize the use of assigned products, provide clinical assistance with support, related to Corcym devices, in the operating room. He/she trains customers on the use of Corcym devices, providing clinical update, organizing staff meeting in the hospitals or one to one presentations.
- To cooperate with Global Marketing and Medical Affairs Team into organization of scientific meetings and seminars
- To support the Sales Team in the organization of local events (e.g. referral meetings)
- To cooperate in the definition of the local marketing strategy and yearly marketing plan, starting from the Global Marketing Plan and coordinating implementation
- To coordinate the new product/therapies and marketing campaigns launch, defining launch objectives, positioning and supporting the implementation
- To support and to train Sales Team on Corcym and competition products and marketing survey
- To support Customer Service in preparation of appropriate scientific and technical materials for tenders

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Strong communication skills, and ability to build relationships.
He/she is expected to deliver high quality written and spoken communications to both external parties, customers, and internal sales teams. He/she should tailor his/her communication to the audience, be comfortable with technical communications.

Good knowledge of English
Depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Car driving license

EDUCATION

Degree in Biomedical Engineering or similar discipline

EXPERIENCE

Ideally 3-4 years of experience as Product Specialist in the cardiac surgery or similar industry in the medical device business
