**Vacancy Announcement - Driver for the Embassy of Malaysia in Rome**

The Embassy of Malaysia in Rome is recruiting an experienced driver to fulfill the position.

**Location**

Via Nomentana 297, Rome (RM), Italy

**Job Type**

Full-time

**Job Purpose**

Provide efficient and safe transportation of the officers at the Embassy of Malaysia to various destinations according to work necessities.

**Language**

Good knowledge of Italian and English in both oral and written communication. Those with good English proficiency will have an advantage to be considered for recruitment.

**Education**

Secondary education or equivalent.

**Desired skills and knowledge**
- Formal drivers training with a valid driver’s license/certification to operate assigned vehicle following local rules and regulations
- Experience in driving in a variety of makes and models of vehicles
- Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, protocol and courtesies and security issues
- Knowledge of detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicle systems
- Knowledge of safety standards and safety equipment
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of communications equipment such as radio, GPS is an advantage
- Availability to frequent work trips
