The Product Development department manages and develops each apparel item from the design sketch to Salesmen Samples until production. Their responsibility is to transform the ideas of the designers and product managers into a final product.
We are looking for an intern who supports our Apparel Product Development Team for at least 6 months. You will support the LaMunt and Wild Country Senior Product Developer in developing the collections from concept to salesman samples. This includes updating both Designs and Tech Sheets (BOM and comments) during the development process.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Help to interpret external designer sketches and create technical detailed drawings to send to vendors
- Support in preparing Tech Sheets in Modelform software for vendors
- Assist the management of fabric and trim development and organization
- Help to measure prototypes and prepare measurement charts and comments in Tech Sheets
- Support the communication to garment makers during the development process (sending Tech Sheets, answering questions from suppliers etc.)
- Collaborate with Brand members: Product Managers, External/Internal Designers
**Profile**
- Studies in the têxtile clothing technology and design
- Ability to use graphic software such as Photoshop Illustrator
- Knowledge of 3D design software is a plus
- Good knowledge of the Italian and English language
- Interested in mountain sports and technical outdoor products
