Life Sciences Application Specialist

The purpose of the job is to provide technical expertise in the conduction of complex projects within the Life Sciences environment, where System Integration is key.

He or she will be involved in the definition and execution of the technical tasks in terms of analysis, design, configuration, and validation. The resource must report to the direct project manager for any kind of critical issue and should be proactive to guarantee the correct progress of the entire project.
The resource will need to ensure autonomy and competence and, thanks to analytical skills, always select the best solution for the success of the project.

**Accountabilities**

Analyse customer needs and translate them into functional and/or non-functional specification.

Support customer objectives by identifying and selecting the relevant technology solutions that can satisfy the customers’ needs.

Provide expertise and collaborate in the implementation, integration, configuration/customization of Life Sciences related technologies, even including new technologies for Clinical Trials and Pharmacovigilance domains.

Ensure that the best practices, company procedures and relevant regulatory requirements (included CSV principles) are applied during all the software lifecycle to grant the compliance.

Provide end user training and act as coach for junior resources in his/her area of competence

Lead key workstreams and consistently delivering high quality deliverables

Collaborate with Project Managers ensuring that project and business are properly managed and mitigated

**Soft / General / Technical Competencies required**

Knowledge of life sciences environment and related technologies (mainly in R&D area)

Good knowledge of database systems

Good Knowledge of GxP applicable regulations (included CSV principles)

Knowledge of top-market leader software for Life Sciences like Oracle ARGUS, ArisG, Veeva, SAS, ClinicalOne, Medable, Medidata Rave is a plus.

Good oral and written communication skills

Proficient in English both technical and colloquial

Ability to operate on multiple projects at the same time

**Professional Background and Experience**

At least 5 years of experience as Senior Consultant, Analyst or Specialist in a technology environment, preferred in the Life Science area
