**Associate Procurement Manager - Global Logistics**

**About the Role**

Are you ready to take charge of a dynamic and impactful role? As our Procurement Associate Manager, you'll oversee and actively manage the end-to-end sourcing and procurement process for Logistics categories across multiple sites and business units within the EU region. This includes international transportation, local distribution, warehousing activities, and pallet management with a spend of over $85MM. You'll drive efficiency and effectiveness in our sourcing processes, work closely with regional stakeholders to support strategic goals, and establish and manage strong supplier relationships. Your role will involve negotiating deals, selecting key suppliers, and ensuring new contracts are implemented quickly and compliantly. You'll monitor vendor and internal performance against contracts and benchmarks, identify market changes and new technologies, and make informed recommendations. Additionally, you'll manage the preparation and evaluation of RFIs and RFPs, oversee the implementation of new vendor contracts and processes, and track and report performance metrics.

You'll report to the EMEA Procurement Manager - Logistics, SC, Plant Facilities & MRO, CAPEX, and be part of a team that values collaboration and innovation.

**Responsibilities**:
Strategic Planning:

- Support the Logistics Procurement Strategy to establish supply sources and ensure critical supply needs for the EU region.
- Provide leadership in procurement strategies from planning to execution.
- Maintain strategic agreements and key supplier relationships to manage risk.
- Engage with Logistics, Business Integration Managers, Customer SC, and Finance teams to optimize value.
- Stay updated on the latest category dynamics, trends, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement opportunities.
- Oversee risk management activities.

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM):

- Develop and manage beneficial relationships with key suppliers.
- Engage in joint business planning with suppliers.
- Establish metrics and prioritize approaches to meet business objectives.
- Manage supplier performance and oversee quarterly business reviews.
- Resolve supplier quality and service issues promptly.
- Collaborate with suppliers on new technologies and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Implement programs to develop supplier capabilities.
- Maintain a comprehensive supplier database.

Sourcing & Procurement Management:

- Oversee Logistics procurement activities, including strategic sourcing and contract management.
- Lead sourcing initiatives and develop category strategies.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Assess and summarize internal customer needs.
- Identify and manage requirements for corporate activities.
- Communicate solution recommendations proactively.
- Ensure customer needs are met through ongoing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).

Sustainability Focus:

- Develop strategies to reduce Scope 3 emissions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance sustainability practices.
- Track and report on sustainability metrics.
- Drive sustainable procurement initiatives.

Experience You’ll Bring:

- BA/BS Degree.
- 6+ years in a relevant function with a proven track record.
- Experience in Logistics Procurement.
- Understanding of procurement processes and strategies.
- Knowledge of supplier markets and trends.
