**Mechanical Designer**:
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the resource work in project team following indication of Mech Project Leader and develop design of mechanical parts with different technologies (aluminium die casting, aluminium sheet metal, injection plastic, metal busbar).
**Responsibilities**:
Provide 3D CAD models, assemblies and drawings with dimensioning and tolerance to ensure form, fit and function at component and system level
Develop and integrate CAD templates and methods into the design process.
Supplier interface.
**Must have**:
Liaise and communicate with other colleagues, departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers
Demonstrate good level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members
Demonstrate initiative by reaching beyond assigned work to improve output and/or help others understand the technical nuances of product of expertise
Well organized and capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
Excel in a fast-paced team environment and be able to collaborate with engineering, suppliers and Project teams.
Ability to react quickly to unexpected changes and competing priorities and deliver quality result
At least 5 years of related experience
Good knowledge of CATIA V5, with a proven track record of utilizing CATIA to deliver layouts, models, assemblies and drawings.
Tolerance analysis skills including arithmetic and statistical stack up techniques.
Professional use of Microsoft Office.
Good knowledge of English
Nice to have
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Previous experience in automotive OEM and/or Tier 1 supplier.
Prefer Powertrain and Transmission experience
