Lab Technician/Research Assistant position available at SR-TIGET: San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-TIGET) in Milan, Italy, is looking for Lab Technician/Research assistant to join the Process Development Lab (PDL). SR-Tiget is a joint venture between the Ospedale San Raffaele and Fondazione Telethon, founded in 1995 to perform cutting-edge research on gene and cell therapy and translate its results into therapeutic advances. The Institute has implemented several successful gene therapy clinical trials, where >120 patients have been treated, and which led, through collaboration with industrial partners, to the filing and approval of ATMPs. To support the growing activities of the PDL on ex vivo expansion of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, we are looking for a highly motivated person to join our research and development group. **Main activities**: He/she will work in a multi-disciplinary team, at the crossroads between scientific discovery and process development, culminating in the transfer of the optimized process to specialized GMP contract manufacturing organizations. **Who we are looking for**: Master’s degree in biology, biotechnology or similar. Doctoral degree is optional; Experience in cell culture and handling of human material; clinical/GMP lab experience is a plus; Experience in flow cytometry, molecular analyses (e.g., quantitative digital PCR) and next-generation sequencing technologies; Experience in small animal experimentation, or willingness to acquire these skills; Sample management and organization skills; Knowledge of English and good communication and collaboration skills. **Work details**: **Type of contract**: Competitive salary and contract, based on qualification and experience; **Duration**: 1 year, renewable; **Place**: IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, via Olgettina 60, Milan, Italy.
