Tax & Compliance Officer

For our Aprilia production site, we are looking for an **Tax & Compliance Officer**.

**The role**:

- Collaborates with the Finance Director to ensure that the Italian Softgel facility complies with Catalent Pharma Solutions financial policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Italian accounting principles, SOX and L.231. In particular:

- Statutory Books: prepares the year-end financial statements for statutory purposes. Organizes Board of Directors and Shareholder Meetings (annual and quarterly) and keeps the meetings’ books.
- External Audit / Board of Statutory Directors: liaises with the External Auditors and with the Statutory Audit Committee.
- IVA / IRES / IRAP / CU: prepares and reviews local tax filings (VAT, Corporate Tax, Income Tax, etc.) together with the external consultants and Finance Director.
- Monthly Journal Entries: prepares monthly tax-related journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Corporate Tax Provision: prepares the quarterly tax provision forecast and other ad-hoc documentation as requested by Corporate.
- Transfer Pricing: prepares and reviews the annual Transfer Pricing Documentation together with the external consultants and Finance Director.
- Ad-Hoc Tax Projects: assists the Finance Director in ad-hoc tax projects in collaboration with Corporate and external consultants as required.
- Tax Credits: supports the business by identifying potential areas of tax savings and other funding opportunities.
- SOX / L231: maintains accurate SOX and L231 documentation and controls as required.
- Insurance Contracts: monitors insurance policies on a half-yearly basis and assists with insurance-related requests.
- ISTAT / Banca d’Italia Questionnaires: prepares and submits ISTAT and Banca d’Italia questionnaires as requested.
- PEC: monitors the company’s official certified mailbox (“PEC”).
- Master degree.
- At least 2 years’ experience in finance in a fast-paced production industry.
- Speaks fluent English and Italian.
- Analytical mindset.

- Excellent communication.
