**What's the role?**:
We are looking for a Team Assistant to join us at KBC - a joint venture company 50% owned by Zespri and 50% by the New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food research. In Italy all KBC activities are supported by the Zespri Global Supply team.

The Team Assistant’s primary purpose is to provide a high level of administrative, secretarial and organizational support to the Kiwifruit Breeding Centre (KBC) team to allow for the effective and efficient functioning of the business.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Facility and Office Management - coordinate the Technical Site and other facilities, troubleshoot any potential issues & support the team to resolve them and purchase necessities for the office.
- Administrative Support - including sorting incoming couriers and postage, ensuring contracts and payments are managed smoothly, ensuring purchase requisitions are created on time and accurately.
- Project and Event Management - overseeing travel/accommodation coordination and supporting ZGS industry meetings, workshops, field days proposed by KBC.
- Communication - supporting KBC/ZGS communication and act as a central point of contact and coordinate internal communications with the team.

**Who are you?**:
To be successful in this role you will have strong organizational & time management skills and be able to prioritize effectively. You will also possess:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to this role.
- Fluent in Italian and English both written and verbal, another language (French or Greek) is considered as an advantage.
- Highly developed computer skills (Microsoft office, O365, MS Teams).
- A valid drivers licence
- A High School Diploma or University Degree
