People Operations Officer

**Location**: Lecco, Italy

**Reports to**: Divisional Manager ATS IT (dotted line to Chief People Officer for ATS)

**Qualification**: Bachelor ‘s degree in HR, business administration, finance, or related field

YOUR JOB - What would be your everyday job?
Role summary

In this role, you will partner with our Italian management team to mantain and improve our great team. You will own the local people strategy and develoment ensuring all aspects (including but not limited to capacity, competence, and capability) are met. You will serve as an advocate for our employees, whilst being responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of best-in-class people processes.
Key responsibilities

Partner with our leadership team ensuring we have the required capacity, competence, and capability needed to deliver company objectives

Management of recruitment activities, including governance of short and long-term hiring needs

Functional owner of our compensation & benefits plans

Management of onboarding and offboarding procedures

Functional owner of training & development plans

Support & coach managers on day-to-day HR issues

Ensure all POps/HR functions comply with local legal standards

Active cooperation with the Global POps/HR team on global POps/HR activities; participating in the creation and roll-out of new POps/HR processes and systems

YOUR PROFILE - qualifications you will need
Key skills and requirements

Experience in a similar role demonstrating knowledge of HR function and best practices

Experience partnering with leadership teams

Understanding of full employee lifecycle

Good knowledge of local labor laws and regulations

Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization

Flexibility with working in office and remotely

Excellent communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
