**ROLE SUMMARY**:
Inspired Group is seeking to appoint an experienced teacher of English and Spanish Language Acquistion for the International School of Siena, Italy in August 2025. Applicants must have experience of teaching IB MYP and DP or a strong background in concept and inquiry-based teaching and learning as well as suitable qualifications and experience in language teaching.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supporting a positive and strong school community through the implementation of the IS Siena Positive Behaviour Policy, the pastoral programme, and the school’s Mission and Values.
- Planning and delivering the curriculum for MYP Spanish and English Language Acquisition and Diploma Spanish and English B.
- Standardizing internal assessments with colleagues.
- Supervising Extended Essays and Personal Projects as necessary.
- Working closely with the DP Coordinator and MYP Coordinator to ensure grade banks are accurate and provide key data to drive student success.
- Acting as a homeroom teacher.
- Contributing to school development through active participation in staff professional development.
- Offering an Extra Curricular activity that supports or extends the current portfolio of offerings.**SAFEGUARDING STATEMENT**
