**About the role**

Sanoma Learning is seeking a **Junior Project Manager** to join our Learning Technology team in Milan, Italy. As a Agile Project Manager, you will assist in coordinating and executing the delivery of our digital learning products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in all aspects of technology projects throughout the entire project life cycle. This is a great opportunity to work on projects that directly impact the education of millions of students across Europe.

**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate **Agile** ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Support the product owner in all aspects of project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on development and release timelines.
- Coordinate the internal and external teams of developers and testers to schedule activities and ensure that project timelines and requirements are met.
- Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree (IT preferred) or similar relevant experience.
- At least 1 -2 years of experience in a technology environment.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
- Experience in agile project management tools and techniques (e.g., Jira, Smartsheets)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong organizational, communicational and co-operational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

**Nice to Have**:

- Knowledge of learning technologies and platforms (e.g., LMS, digital books)
- Experience with HTML, JSON, APIs and other web-related technologies.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles and software development practices.
