**In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. **What type of breed are we looking for?**
**We’re on the hunt for a Trade & Shopper Marketeer with a passion for trade marketing, a strong creative flair and an analytical spirit to help build our brand here in Italy. You will be building the strategy to bring our brand to life instore & online and you’ll understand both customer and shopper behaviour and use this insight to make our marketing strategy even better When it comes to the right tactics to support a JBP, shopper stopping plans or looking holistically at how we can optimise our range across retail channels you’ll be the key link up between our marketing strategy and our superstar Sales teams to perfectly execute and land these initiatives.

**What will be in your bowl?**
**You’ll be fully responsible from day one for owning Joint Business plans in the specialty channel with a focus on creating and implementing market leading strategy to drive trial, x-sell & upsell. You will own our in-store activations program and you will set the country events strategy, covering both consumer and B2B trade fairs.
**INSIGHTS & REPORTING**
- Know your numbers - base all decisions on category and shopper data insights and existing market knowledge.
- Understand market scenario and analyze competitor’s strengths and weaknesses.
**SHOPPER STOPPING PLANS**
- You’ll understand and be able to influence shopper behaviour instore, working with the local Sales teams to ensure our retailer plans are as strong and disruptive as they can be.
- Recommend and implement clear in-store guidelines and deliver retail activations strategies, making sure we shine in-store
- Ensure promo effectiveness by implementing insightful tracking and analysis.
**IN-STORE EXPERIENTIAL & EVENTS**
- Own and implement the in-store activations plan, managing the budget to make sure that our activations are working effectively to drive shopper conversion in-store.
- Sniff out the way ahead. You’ll be able to identify which areas of the country, and which stores could benefit from a demo blast or in-store activity to drive our sales.
- Set up experiments for continuous improvements: embody the analyze / ideate / priorities test-cycle mentality.
- Develop and implement disruptive, creative events plans that build awareness, engagement to reach as many new prospects as possible.
**TRADE MARKETING TOOLKIT**
- Develop and execute market leading trade & shopper actions including operations liaison and POS development.
- Create sales-optimizing planograms, backed by the right shelf messaging/POSM.
- Make sure our display & collateral instore is as impactful as it can be: Right unit, right messaging, right placement.
**TEAM PLAYER**
- Align with the marketing manager, the sales and global teams. Because it takes two flints to make a fire, right?
- Manage relationship and build collaborative ways of working the with agencies
**What skills & tricks should you bring?**
- At least 3-4 years trade/activation/shopper experience within a FMCG marketing team, working across more than one shopper channel.
- Familiarity with todays online and offline shopper marketing landscape and tools.
- A true team player, with determination and drive and a Hands on & pro-active attitude. You’re a natural problem solver with a positive mindset.
- Results-driven and comfortable with data and analysis to measure the impact and ROI of our activities. You're always on the look to increase conversion rates and sales.
- You’re constantly curious, always looking for entrepreneurial solutions.
- You’re a strong communicator, comfortable taking internal and external stakeholders on the journey.
- You’re an organized, project management mastermind and you’re comfortable managing schedules and budgets.
- The ability to develop long lasting relationships and partnerships.
- Experience working with agencies where needed would also be a neat trick.
- Hold a degree level or equivalent qualification + a high level of MS Office proficiency.
- An ethical approach in all you do - you align with our values. Oh and you love pets, of course
