Lazard is seeking to recruit an **experienced Associate** to join the Generalist team in Milan to provide a wide spectrum of financial services such as, amongst other, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate restructurings, corporate financing, special committee assignments, strategic partnerships/joint ventures, capital structure advisory.

**Day-to-day activities of an Associate include**:

- Providing guidance and undertaking financial analyses/models
- Directing and drafting client presentations and marketing materials in consultation with other team members
- Interacting with clients, understanding client objectives and recommending potential solutions
- Handling process execution, assisting in due diligence efforts
- Leading analysts within the team
- Developing his/her profile across Lazard groups and regions; contributing to firm-wide initiatives including recruiting, training and professional development
- Minimum of 3 or 4 years of investment banking or comparable experience
- Strong technical and analytical skills with an ability to build financial models with ease
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage own work and that of analysts in a high-pressure environment
- Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to maintain relationship with colleagues and clients at all levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High standards of professional and ethical conduct, adhere to legal and regulatory requirements of the banking environment, and follow Lazard policies and procedures
