Tesla is a mission-driven company. The role of the Customer Engagement function is to establish and strengthen authentic connections with audiences everywhere. We focus on premium brand stories related to our products and our customers; we manage the corporate reputation and brand equity; and we engage, inspire, and motivate our communities.

The Customer Engagement Coordinator will support on projects that directly promote Tesla’s vehicle and energy products. This involves helping to execute on country plans, coordinating our press fleet operations, from pitching loans to relevant reporters and influencers to coordinate car preparations and handling handovers. Sharing results with wider teams and making sure the business is aware of the value your team delivers is also a fundamental part of the role.

You will work closely with sales, delivery and service teams. You must be solutions oriented, flexible, self-driving and thrive in a highly agile an environment. You are creative, can think big but start small, and are eager to deliver results. An open-mind and team-player attitude is a must.

What You’ll Do
- Identify and evaluate opportunities that build brand and product visibility and establish credibility, including social channels
- Draft messaging, support media events organization
- Identify and elevate potential issues to your Manager and solicit counsel when needed to avert crises
- Work across teams to identify and interview key customers and build newsworthy stories that articulate Tesla’s product messages to media
- Build meaningful relationships with internal teams, including sales, service and charging, to achieve highly effective and measurable results
- Responsible for updating media data base, monitoring and reporting
- Handover cars to influencers and coordinate press fleet logistics
- Keep photo database and press coverage archives
- Travel throughout the country with flexibility to attend events

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Communications, Public Relations, Journalism).
- Fluent English and local language is required for this position, other language [French, German, Dutch, Italian] skills are considered a benefit.
- 1-3 years in product and/or corporate communications, preferably for a major technology, lifestyle or automotive company or acquired on agency side.
- Experience with and able to develop strong relationships with regional media.
- Demonstrate initiative in managing a wide range of projects with a high degree of independence.
- Demonstrate proficiency in writing skills to craft external correspondence, press materials, etc.
- Demonstrate practical and advanced understanding of visual communications, social media and the digital landscape and how to incorporate these channels into communication programs.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and very fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail on all projects.
- Ability to travel (30%)
