Your Role and Responsibilities

As the General Counsel Italy, reporting to the General Counsel Europe, you will be the first point of contact for Kyndryl’s business team in Italy, and you will be working with the team to maintain business operations, including handling corporate law matters, maintaining Kyndryl’s compliance posture, and creating and implementing strategies for all sort of legal matters.

You will be leading the Italian team, and together with your colleagues in the Italian team and Kyndryl’s other lawyers across Europe, you form Kyndryl’s European Legal team - supporting the entire breadth of Kyndryl’s business activities in Europe, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on a variety of commercial agreements, such as, e.g., outsourcing and infrastructure services and management contracts.

A proactive work approach with a strong sense of ownership and leadership is as important to succeed in the role as is the ability to, and enjoying to, work in cross-border teams. An interest in growing yourself and helping your team grow is key since everybody has the opportunity to continuously learn and build expertise.

What we are looking for
- Commercial lawyer with a strong interest in contract drafting and negotiations and be familiar with large scale IT infrastructure contracts.
- Ability to show integrity under pressure and balance the requirements of different internal and external stakeholders
- Problem-solver with an ability to find creative legal solutions to complex issues
- Hands on and can-do approach
- Strategic thinker; agile with a strong sense of ownership and leadership
- Master of Laws Degree from an Italian university and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a lawyer, preferably from a well-renowned law firm or from an in-house counsel role
- People management expertise
- Strong communication skills and working proficiency (verbal/written) in Italian and English.

Who You Are

Fully qualified lawyer in Italy, experience in managing teams and clients, skilled in a broad range of legal topics, including contract negotiations, disputes, compliance, and corporate laws.
