Vfx Editor

EDI is looking **VFX Editor** **to join our creative team.

The **VFX Editor** serves as the key link between the DI, Editorial Department, the in-house production teams and the artists. Under the supervision of the VFX Supervisor, the Visual Effects Editor is the main level of support for the entire production team, from pre-production to final delivery.

**_ Job responsibilities:_**
- Run client reviews and all internal dailies sessions
- Set-Up the workflow for the current visual effects project
- Create projects for the compositors in Nuke Studio
- Respond to all editorial requests
- Run client reviews and all internal dailies sessions
- Process turnovers to the Editorial Department
- Working closely with Producer & Vfx Supervisor to ensure delivery quality
- Work closely with internal production, artists and other support departments providing advice, references, information and files when needed.

**_Required skills:_**
- Excellent knowledge of DaVinci Resolve
- Working knowledge of a tracking system software
- Strong technical background and an expert understanding of all editorial tools
- Working knowledge of film and digital formats, files, frame rates, resolutions, colour space and codecs
- Teamwork, relationship building and communication skills
- Organized, positive and proactive
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, set priorities and solve problems
- Knowledge of Assimilate Scratch is a plus.
