The iCare brand is a **trusted partner in ophthalmic diagnostics**, offering doctors fast, easy-to-use, and reliable tools for diagnosis of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration (AMD). The devices cover automated fundus imaging systems, perimeters, and handheld rebound tonometers. iCare Solutions provide **digital clinical tools that drive greater efficiency and enhance quality in eye care**.
We are looking for a **Product Manager** who, reporting to the Global Business Line Diagnostics Director, will be responsible for product definition and product portfolio planning related to the iCare's **ophthalmic digital services solution**. Together with the Business Line Diagnostics Director, you will **lead the business strategy** and will be responsible for **specifying the products’ functional requirements and managing the launch and marketing of products and features**.
In particular, you will be responsible for:
- researching and understanding the market for Digital Services and Advanced Clinical Decision Support tools;
- coordinating with product development teams to ensure requirements and standards, facilitating brainstorming sessions and design reviews to gather input on new features
- working in an agile environment and managing the process (backlog, standup, kickoff, showcase) together with the development teams;
- using data, customer feedback and competitive analysis to support and drive decisions, creating a product roadmap;
- taking care of the global product portfolio, including also regulatory approval related aspects;
- product positioning and definition of pricing strategy, driving the product business strategy and organizing sales force training;
- managing and coordinating product launches and related marketing activities (preparing materials and campaigns in cooperation with MarCom);
- collaborating with other product managers and development streams to plan across solutions when required.
- a Degree in Biomedical, Computer Science, Electrical or Management Engineering;
- proven experience in the role of Product Manager, within the biomedical industry or in medical technology (software development);
- proven experience in working with agile methodology and tools;
- solid marketing skills in both B2B and B2C and in go-to-market planning and co-ordination;
- commercial acumen and number agility combined with an entrepreneurial attitude and desire to innovate;
- excellent communication and presentation skills, spoken and written, both in Italian and in English.
