**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Maintain up-dated and review the GE Avio Quality Manual, Procedures ,in collaboration with GE Aviation
- Review the internal GE Avio processes to be compliant with the Avio Aero Quality Manual and, if needed, manage the changes to both the processes and the Manual Procedures as required
- Provide training to individuals regarding the functional processes requirements
- GE Learnig and AvioAero Academy management
- Be the focal point within Quality System for STD Rules such as EN 9100 / AQAP 2310 as applicable; in this activity he/she shall collaborate with the all functions involved
- Support the Quality System Leader in carrying audit for the external compliance verification of the Certification process

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or high school diploma; technical degree is preferred
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Ability to work within multifunctional teams
- Strong relationship & leadership skills: able to influence, motivate and work effectively within a matrix environment
- Be proactive proposing solutions when problem is detected
- EU work permit
- Significant experience in Quality in complex contexts

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Good knowledge of the Avio Aero processes
- Past experience in Quality System is preferred
- Past experience in Aerospace & Defence is preferred
- Available for short term business trips
