Material Planner

Pininfarina, prestigious global corporation, market leader in Automotive, Product & Experience and Architecture Design services, is currently looking for a:
**MATERIAL PLANNER**

**The resource will be involved in the following activities**:

- Supporting the development and review of the project schedule
- Resolving scheduling system conflicts and discrepancies by identifying, researching and correcting and/or notifying responsible parties through monitoring scheduling reports, any discrepancies on production orders due to: changes on the B.O.M., delinquent information on manufactured items, cancellation requirements.
- Reviewing project timing for possible conflicts in achieving a realistic project timeline
- Assisting Design, Project Management and Manufacturing to establish commercial component priorities
- Processing scheduling exceptions and errors identified on ERP scheduling reports.
- Reviewing documents, such as production schedules and specifications to obtain information, such as materials and priorities
- Monitoring Min/Max material inventory. Transfers orders to acquire materials to meet production demands. Completes status reports, such as production progress and materials inventory
- Managing engineering requirements into Purchasing Requisitions

**Main Requirements and technical skills**:

- Associates Degree in technical or business discipline
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in an automotive product development and production
- Microsoft Project and Excel
- Previous experience utilizing a MRP/ERP system
- Understanding of Manufacturing Integration Processes
