Technical Project Leader Iii

Position Description:
CNIC Regional Offices enable improvement of operational performance and cost reduction through business process definition, analysis, and development of technical capabilities. In support of this effort, Serco is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer and IT Management Support Technician (Technical Project Leader III/SME 3). This position is based out of Naples, Italy.
- Systems engineering support in the integration of CNREURAFCENT N6 or other related IT requirements
- Support in the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Performance Work Statements (PWSs), as well as support in tracking project schedules, and tracking and addressing risks and issues.
- Review and/or or recommendations related to IT projects, designs or drawings, and cost estimates to ensure compatibility and suitability with current or anticipated system requirements.
- Surveys of UNCLASSIFIED (UNCLASS), SECRET (S), TOP SECRET (TS) or TOP SECRET/ SENSITIVE COMPARTMENTED INFORMATION (TS/SCI) facilities-related project sites, capture of site status and requirements. and submittal of corresponding site survey reports.
- Oversight for Tier 1 and 2 Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) ashore components; working closely with the Global Distance Support Center (Navy 311)
- Status briefings of IT projects to program stake holders.
- Coordination with facilities-related project stakeholders, such as Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and local Public Works Department (PWD); coordination with Command Management to obtain approvals or permits required for facilities-related projects.
- Regular briefings to the designated Communications Officer (COMMO) on current and upcoming IT projects; regular attendance at facilities-related project design and planning meetings.
- Requests for Change (RFCs) or Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs) to the appropriate Change Control Board (CCB) in support of CNREURAFCENT N6 IT requirements when required.
- Familiarity with and support in implementing Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) framework, principles, and processes, and will utilize ITSM tools, when applicable, in providing IT services.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

- HS Diploma along with technical training related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.
- At a minimum, an up to date DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II and DoD 8140 Intermediate Network Specialist baseline certification.
- At least 12 years of experience providing IT support, particularly in performing technical reviews of facility and IT systems requirements, and drawings and documentation.
- Knowledge and working experience with DoD and industry facility and IT standards and best practices.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; CAD software (desired).
