**YOUR ROLE**

We are looking for GBS EMEA Lease Accountant specialist who will join The Global Business Service is a Shared Service Center network that provides Accounting services to our global subsidiaries. The EMEA Shared Service Center, based in Agordo (BL) is accountable for the following processes: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Master Data, Indirect Taxes and Balance Sheet Assets for both Italian companies and European subsidiaries.

Within the Finance Team, the Lease Accounting Specialist will manage the accounting details and activities relevant to real estate. Main responsibilities: collect, verify and input data into the Real Estate Management tool (REM); record monthly lease journal entries and complete account reconciliations; post invoices and run lease payments, ensuring they are processed completely, accurately and timely; provide guidance on lease accounting and its implications to stakeholders; liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

As Lease Accounting Specialist, you will join the GBS Team and support your collegues in the following activities:

- Provide operational guidance on lease accounting and its implications
- Review of contracts from an accounting perspective
- Maintain the real estate management tool (new contract, lease modification.)
- Review the monthly output data from the lease software
- Posting & payment of Landlords invoices
- Vendor accounts reconciliation
- Balance sheet lease accounts reconciliation
- Closing activities (month-end and year-end accruals)
- Support internal and external audit
- Liaise directly with the landlords

**Main requirements**
- You have achieved/are going to achieve an Economics, Finance, Administration or Business Management Degree
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of Lease Accounting Standards and its implications, IFRS16 is a plus
- You are a quantitative analysis lover, a true Excel addict
