As a public company, growing shareholder value is critical, and to that end we focus on three strategic corporate goals: Growth, Operational Excellence, and “One Watts Water.” Job Description Summary Fluid Solution South is one of the 4 platforms run in Europe, representing about 1/3rd of the Total Europe annual revenue, FS South is very active in HVAC, instrumentation and water quality solutions thru its multiple operations in Europe (Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Iberica and Poland (CEE) Based in Biassono, Italy, the finance director (FSS) works in a matrix organization reporting to the VP finance Europe with strong dottled-line support to the Managing Director FSS working as thru right hand to help driving growth and profitability RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: - ensure proper financial reporting under local/ US GAAP - lead team of +/-19 finance professionals to perform financial duties (Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Internal controls, Treasury ) - partner with leadership to support sales/ margin expansion as well as future M&A - ensure open and fluid communication and work relationship with Watts regional and head office - Analyze financial results, identify and communicate deviations from plans and forecast with recommendations for potential solutions and improvements - Develop and coordinate realistic short term and long-term financial plans, i.e. forecasts, budgets, 5 year strategic plans - be an active strategic member of the Italian and FSS leadership team EDUCATION: CPA and/ or MBA/ Master of Science in Finance or Economics PEOPLE MANAGER: QUALIFICATIONS: - has 15 years of experience working for US MNC in an industrial environment. - Used to deal with pressure, working with high sense of urgency. - demonstrates good understanding of local GAAP/ Tax environment - is fluent in Italian and English.
