Finance/ControllingBecome part of HHLA PLT Italy and shape the gateway to the future with us The Finance Controller owns the budget, forecast and financial reporting for the Expansion. The Finance Controller supports the Project Management with accurate forecasting and budget tracking, including cash flow management and shareholder requirements. The role will ensure regular reporting is up to par and incorporates the feedback from various internal stakeholders into the controls/budget. The Finance Controller is a pro-active communicator and collaborator across the project team gathering and sharing information. **What you can expect**: - Provide critical analyses and commentary for on ongoing business developments for management - Execute procedures for budget control including forecasting - Execute weekly and monthly reporting with input from other team members - Confirm and check deliverables of sub - or special projects - Pro-actively engage with and obtain information from project stakeholders - Regularly update the project risk register/other control documents - Support of the economic planning process - Comply with all the safety and security rules and regulations lead by example - Support the department and business unit where required - Follow the corporate authority matrix, contract policies compliance guidelines - Actively report improvement opportunities to direct report **What you bring to the table**: We’re looking for an accurate and process minded individual who can engage with the different project stakeholders. The person would have a high sense of responsibility as the role is vital to track progress of the entire project and ensure the deliverables are achieved. - Good Italian and English (German is a plus) - Experience (5+ year(s)) in finance controlling, commercial administration (incl. critical paths, resources, etc.) - Experience (5+ year(s)) in projects/developments >€1 Million - Good understanding of MS Office - Good understanding of SAP/accounting systems & procedures - Understanding of project management methodologies, including project controls - Driven and detail oriented, will own the reporting & regular updates - Process & logic driven mentality - Degree in Finance, Economy, Business Engineering or related HHLA PLT Italy is part of HHLA Group, with over 6.400 employees worldwide.
