Procurement Plant Focal

**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Company, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

As Procurement Plant Focal you will directly report to the Procurement Leader, supporting him/her in the execution of Sourcing critical purchases, ensuring the timely deliveries of goods to the relevant Plant and monitoring Suppliers delivery performances and KPI. Covering this role you will be the liaison among Procurement and Plant.

In this role you will require and guarantee the execution of improvement plans aimed to recover delivery delays. You will also drive the continuous improvement and partner with the Digital team to ensure lean approach and Suppliers’ excellence. As Procurement Plant Focal, you will partner with Plant Leader, the Material Leader, the Fulfilment Leader and the Procurement team to enable effective resolution of delivery issues and schedules, and pursue and drive continues improvement to ensure KPI improvements and excellence.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Attends to the Sourcing MOR meetings with the Plants and Sourcing and Financial QMI.
- Attends to the WOR meetings
- Attend plant assy board meetings
- Cooperate with Senior Material management team and Material planning to ensure proper scheduling to the Suppliers
- Establish an operational rhythm with the Senior Material management team, Material planning and Fulfillment
- Through KPI analysis drives actions and strategy for improvement and stabilization
- Drives Critical Material Review (“Customer Impact”) with the Plants
- Escalate to Commodity Leaders severe deliveries delay and any commercial matter impacting supplier output
- Ensure, for critical material, GW and action plan creation and Management
- Enable resolution of the delivery issues for critical material
- Collaborate to the problem solving of Suppliers issues

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Master's Degree in Technical field from an accredited university or college
- Solid experience in Procurement, Fulfillment or Planning roles
- Extensive knowledge of the sourcing field
- Strong problem solving ability
- Knowledge of lean tools: at point problem solving, PSR, action plans, 5whys, fishbone diagram, pareto analysis etc
- Fluency in Italian and English language
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
