The Accountant will serve in a variety of areas for our consolidated group of companies including general ledger, analysis, reconciliations, inventory, and cash management. Other duties will include accounts receivable reconciliation, month end closing, ad hoc reporting, and other accounting-related projects. This is a fully remote position located in Italy.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee general ledger account review and reconciliation
- Prepare and manage control and subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts
- Prepare trial balances, financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
- Reconcile and review bank statements and other fiscal records for discrepancies
- Manage daily cash postings
- Prepare documents required by international tax fiscal representatives; resolve inquiries to ensure proper documentation requirements are met
- Review and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Post bi-weekly and monthly payroll entries
- Complete monthly closing processes, including accruals and related account review
- Prepare documentation, reports, and other requirements for audits
- Coordinate accounts payable activities with the purchasing function
- Review transactions for documentation of obligation, payment authorization, timely payment, and accurate recording

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role
- Experience with general ledger, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, inventory, and financial reporting is required
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and technical accounting skills
- Microsoft Dynamics experience or similar ERP software is required
