HR Manager

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- **Lead site/unit staffing and organizational design activities**
- Provide organization design consultation
- Support Talent Acquisition processes (review resumes, participate in interviews and support compensation/offer activities)
- Manage labor contracts
- Facilitate Onboarding activities
- Participate in manpower planning to support production
- Support employee job bid and shift preferences processes
- Support employee voluntary/involuntary terminations
- Consult with business leaders on workforce analysis and planning
- **Manage Employee Relations/performance management**
- Address employee conflicts
- Administer employee discipline/corrective actions in conjunction with managers
- Complete investigations as required (Cooper Standard Integrity Line, grievance/complaints, etc.)
- Coach/counsel/advise managers on performance issues
- Participate in works council or union negotiations and implement agreements (if applicable) Administer policies and procedures (local, country, corporate)
- Foster and facilitate initiatives of internal communication (briefing, regular communication meetings, newsletters) and coordinate external communication in alignment with Corporate guidelines
- Proactively propose and implement initiatives that enhance Social Responsibility and Community involvement
- **Drive Talent Management and Employee Engagement activities**
- Facilitate training gap analyses and develop gap closure plans
- Lead succession planning process - talent identification and facilitation of IDPs (Individual Development Plan)
- Facilitate employee engagement, total rewards and wellness activities (scheduling, communicating, etc.)
- Support employee communications (local, regional and corporate) as necessary
- Provide coaching and counseling to leaders as needed to improve their effectiveness as well as that of their teams
- Actively manage the employee lifecycle to ensure a positive employee experience.
- **Provide educational and referral support for country/regional/corporate HR programs administration and audits, while assisting with ensuring compliance**
- Payroll - timekeeping validation, attendance tracking, etc.
- Benefit enrollment
- Compensation planning
- Immigration and expat administration
- Internal and external (ISO/IATF) audits
- Budget and forecast preparation (headcount, salaries);
- Data accuracy (HRIS and other systems)
- Provide ongoing customer feedback to COEs
- **Provide HR support to the site/unit as necessary**
- Provide support on special projects as necessary
- Reports and data analysis, data reporting for authorities and government
- Collaborate and partner with HSE functions

**Education and Qualifications**:

- 5+ years' experience working in a industrial company
- Associate or Bachelor's degree (2 or 4 year) or equivalent experience
- Strong background and knowledge in relationship management.
- Must possess strong organizational experience
- Must be able to work proactively and resolve complex issues
- Experience interacting effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as the public.
- Excellent oral and written communication techniques and effective presentation experiences.
- Aptitude to maintain multiple tasks/deadlines
