The _Contracts & Negotiation Manager_ for Cytiva is responsible _drafting and negotiating commercial contracts_

This position is part of the Cytiva Commercial Contract Team located in _Milan Italy _and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

**What you will do**:

- _ Draft, review, edit, and negotiate commercial customer agreements, such as sales contracts, amendments, reseller agreements, contract renewals, and customer etc._
- _ Ensure compliance to the contracts approval policy and other company policies; solicit buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders_
- _ Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend solutions and best practices; assess and lead initiatives to improve contracting processes and tools_
- _ Train and advise commercial teams on agreement structure, templates, risks, and alternatives_
- _ Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations_
- _ Provide training, mentorship, and 2nd-tier support to other contracts team members_
- ** Who you are**:

- _ Possess a law degree_
- _ Have 5+ years’ experience with commercial contract review, redlining, and drafting, including local, regional, and global agreements_
- _ Have 5+ years’ experience with contract negotiations and external client engagement_
- _ Demonstrable experience (i) using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative contract solutions, and (ii) prioritizing competing demands from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment_
- _ Possess advanced writing and communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail; English language fluency is a must. Other languages are a plus._
- ** Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements**: _if applicable for role_
- _ Ability to travel - list specifics10 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations_
- ** It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- _ BioTechnology or Pharmaceutical industry_
