We are looking for a full-time employee for our subsidiary Thermit Italiana located in Milan area as:
**Head of Controlling and Accounting (M/F/d)**:
**YOUR TASKS**:

- Head a small finance team of two persons, ensure proper accounting and timely and accurate tax declarations
- Plan, organize and steer all cash and bank operations
- Responsibility for controlling, processing, analysing and reporting financial data and performance indicators, preparing and monitoring financial budgets, forecasts and cash flow plans
- Guarantee timely and accurate month-end/year-end closing processes and statutory financial reporting in both Italian as well as German GAAP
- Ensure regular financial reporting to the German Management Holding
- Support the local Managing Director in financial issues
- Enhance the company's operational and financial performance by managing and optimizing cost accounting and controlling processes and cost calculations for products and services

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- University degree in accounting, finance & controlling, commerce or business administration
- Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, controlling and finance in industrial/ manufacturing organizations, experience in working with international corporate group management structures preferred
- Accounting & controlling expert with administrational and commercial competences with proven leadership abilities
- Used to month-end/year-end closing processes in both Italian as well as an international GAAP
- Broad knowledge of month-end/year-end closing processes in both Italian as well as an international GAAP
- Experienced in cost and profitability accounting, cost calculations etc.
- Strong ERP experience (Microsoft Navision/Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC preferred) and excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel is a must
- Strong Italian and English language skills required, German language skills are an advantage
- Analytical skills, conceptual and structured thinking combined with pragmatic hands-on mentality
