**Your responsibilities and tasks**:

- Be responsible for formulating goals, objectives, exclusions, time plan & budget for the projects together with all relevant departments in line with our strategic growth areas
- Take technical lead and manage the cross-functional project team through the innovation process from front end to go-to-market activities
- Coordinate activities with internal and external resources and regularly update the main stakeholders on project progress
- Ensure that the projects adhere to the development process such that deliverables and milestones are met
- Contribute to idea generation initiatives as well as to technical and commercial analyses of new R&D project proposals

**Your profile and qualifications**:

- University degree in engineering (mechanical/electrical/mechatronic/automation)
- Relevant industry experience (more than 5 years) working in a matrix organization ideally leading technology / product development
- Working knowledge of 3D CAD and PDM (Inventor and Vault) and main project management tool
- Previous experience within food processing is an advantage
- Fluent in Italian and very good knowledge of English
- Intercultural competences, communicative skills, proactive approach
