**Responsibilities**

**Overview**:
As a Purchasing Intern in Cummins-Meritor in Cameri (NO) you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful heavy duty trackmakers companies, in the automotive product development field, working in an international and multicultural environment.

You will part of the EU Axles Purchasing office within the EU headquarter, supporting and learning Cummins Purchasing best practice in executing activity based on Forging and Steel categories short
- and long-term strategy.

**You will learn how to**:

- Supports in the analysis and calculation of the main purchasing indicators (NMP)
- Supports the RfI/RfQ activities and negotiations with the suppliers
- Analysis of the suppliers' offers and cost breakdown
