- To support the teams who are powering this ecosystem we have a global Corporate division consisting of departments including Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Strategy, Human Resources, Central Services and PR and Communications.

Our Corporate division are now seeking a talented Controller to join the Global Controlling Operations team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:
Location: our offices in Zola Predosa (Bologna) or Bologna Interporto (Bentivoglio)

Reporting into: Head of Controlling Operations

Team Size: 4

Contract Type: Maternity Cover

Workplace Type: Hybrid

Role Purpose:
The Controller acts as a business partner to the Operation Functions, providing financial insight to achieve Cost targets, preparing timely and accurate monthly costs reports, investigating any discrepancy.

The new joiner will support Finance team in collecting and analysing all accounting information necessary to finalize monthly closing process and official reporting.

The person will cooperate with the Business Partners, actively contributing to estimate and analyse Costs trends.

The Controller will perform budgeting and reforecasting, analysing gaps between forecast and actual.

Here's a breakdown of what you'll be doing:
- Deliver, review and own the Budget, Forecasting and Latest Estimate processes for Customs / Shipping costs-
- Manage the monthly closing activities-
- Support the business leaders in managing/reviewing costs and KPIs and providing ad-hoc value adding analysis.-
- Proactively identify, appraise & recommend business opportunities.-
- Prepare, analyse and deliver monthly Group results to business leaders.The type of person we are looking for:
- Degree in Economics or Management Engineering-
- 1/2 years of significant prior experience in a similar position or financial controlling role-
- Outstanding analytical abilities, precision, a result-driven orientation and aptitude for problem solving-
- Good knowledge of English, Fluency in Italian-
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.-
- Preferred SAP knowledge, Navision experience is advantageous-
- Occasional business trips may be required.- _
