Introduction to the job
As a leader of project & excellence team in CSCM, you should plan, lead, drive and execute continuous improvement activities in terms of project portfolio management, cost management, and operational excellence. In addition, you engage team members, stakeholders, and management in the activities professionally so that maximum throughput can be made in a sustainable manner.
Role and responsibilities
Project portfolio management
- Identify and analyze biz needs, stakeholders and linkages to other project scope and objectives
- Manage global project intakes, local project initiatives, and required resource
- Monitor the project activities and deliverables, manage the project risk, and take corrective action when necessary
- Build, maintain and utilize a network of in and external stakeholders / partners and set the governance
- Support and manage local project portfolio champion
Cost Management
- Set local saving strategy and target, initiate the activities/projects, and track the results / impact
- Monitor and manage OPEX based on the TAP budget given and the actual monthly spends
- Drive the cost excellence activities for the process standardization & optimization
- Contribute to CS Profit & Loss review and improvement on behalf of CSCM
- Collaborate with VHV finance and the other regions for the BKMs
Operation Excellence
- Help generate the strategy to identify operational improvement opportunities and support for ongoing site effort
- Lead Lean & Kaizen deployment activities in close collaboration with VHV as well as local stakeholders
- Facilitate annual business planning process and workshops
- Develop and optimize CSCM KPIs and reports
- Coordinate and support the Lean Champion program
People/team Management
- Coach and sponsor team members so they can achieve their goals & targets
- Step in and set the directions when any barriers/constraints arise on the way of project & excellence activities
- See aspiration & career path of team members and /help/guide/coach them to move forward
- Coordinate biz conflicts in case they cannot be handled by team members accordingly
- Set/monitor/manage/evaluate team members’ targets & achievement in a professional & timely manner
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
- 10 years minimum applicable experience in Manufacturing/Supply Chain role in multi-national, multi-cultural environment
- Deep experience in Lean Manufacturing/Management, Six Sigma and Agile
- Project/program management experience, with demonstrated proficiency in delivering quality results on-time and in-full.
- People management experience of 5 to 10 people.
**Skills**:
- Able to demonstrate significant depth in at least one or more of the following Continuous Improvement / Program
- Knowledgeable of supply chain and operations design and improvement.
- Deep insight on budget planning & control and OPEX management
- Mature & professional communication skills
- Outstanding leadership & people/stakeholder management competency
- Develop capability, buy-in and support for lean continuous improvement culture in the organization.
- Adapt him/herself to dynamic & global biz environment
- Fluent English and Korean speaking & writing skills
