**Description**

Catholic Tour Operator, Expatro Tours is seeking freelance Religious Tour Guides to lead Catholic pilgrimage and heritage walking tours in Pompeii, the Marian city renowned for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary and the inspiring life of Blessed Bartolo Longo, Apostle of the Rosary.

You will guide faith-based groups, pilgrims, and culturally curious visitors through sacred spaces where Catholic devotion, art, and history come together — including the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary, Blessed Bartolo Longo’s House, and the Sanctuary Gardens.

This is more than a sightseeing experience — it’s a spiritual and educational journey that invites travelers to reflect on conversion, faith, and the power of the Rosary in the heart of Pompeii.

**We’re seeking individuals who are**:

- Deeply knowledgeable about Catholic theology, spirituality, and history.
- Passionate about faith storytelling and able to help visitors encounter the spiritual richness of Pompeii’s Marian and Rosary heritage.
- Inspired to share Catholic faith and culture in a way that is both reverent and engaging.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead Catholic walking and day tours in Pompeii, especially within the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary and associated pilgrimage sites connected to Blessed Bartolo Longo.
- Deliver engaging commentary rooted in Catholic theology, scripture, and Church history.
- Provide insightful historical and cultural context for each site.
- Adapt storytelling to suit audiences with varying levels of religious knowledge.
- Ensure group engagement, comfort, and spiritual reflection throughout the tour.
- Encourage prayerful and respectful participation in sacred spaces.

Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of Catholic doctrine, liturgy, and Church history.
- Fluency in one or more major languages (e.g., English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Polish).
- Confidence in leading faith-based discussions and answering theological or historical questions.
- Warm, compassionate communication style suitable for pilgrimage environments.
- Ability to manage groups independently and professionally.
- Compliance with local tour guide licensing requirements (if applicable).

**Desirable Qualifications**
- Degree or background in Theology, Religious Studies, or Ministry.
- Previous experience leading Catholic pilgrimages, retreats, or religious tours.
- Strong familiarity with Pompeii, its Sanctuary, and the life of Blessed Bartolo Longo.
