**Internship - HSE Assistant**:

**This position reports to**:
HSE Specialist

**Your responsibilities**:

- Promote continuous improvement by implementing the system at Group level, training, providing assistance from the Competence Centre and improvement programs.
- Provide operational support to maintain full compliance with applicable HSE regulations, procedures and company policies and resolve any non-compliance issues (ISO-ISO 14001 and OHSAS ISO45001 standards).
- Modify all relevant HSE documentation such as PSC (Safety and Coordination Plans) and SOP (Operational Safety Plans) required for the execution of ABB activities within active construction sites, and verify the availability and consistency of HSE documentation for all subcontractors and ABB suppliers involved.
- Manage all paperwork, notifications and permits to ensure site compliance with ABB and Italian HSE policies, rules, laws and guidelines.

**Your background**:

- Degree in prevention and safety engineering/ prevention techniques in workplaces and environments.
- Knowledge of the Consolidation Act 81/2008 in particular contract management according to art. 26.
- Good knowledge of the office package including excel/word/power point.
- Ability to handle complex issues and work with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborative and solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
