Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of NAS domain: avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.

**_ JOB OBJECTIVE:_**
- As a Quality Assurance Manager:_
- _Evaluates the execution and provide visibility and insight about Quality matters on products development, key bids and projects (Risk Driven Quality Assurance), according to Thales Management System (Chorus) and aplicable regulations (ISO, AQAP, EASA,)_
- As an Engineering Quality Leader:_
- _Supports the development of the Engineering maturity (diagnostic, proposals for improvement, action plansfollow-up, problem solving,)_

**_ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES _**
- _Provides feedback about Quality risks, to support decision during Bids and Projects reviews_
- _Evaluates the execution of Products development / Bids and Projects management and provide visibility and insight about Quality matters_
- _Supports problem solving analysis and resolution_
- _Supports team in process tailoring_
- _Raise alerts when process performance is not adequate, supports action needed to restore required performance_
- _Supports teams in managing Customer Complaints and restoring customer satisfaction_
- _Is a quality referent in the engineering process (Solution, SW, HW) and practices to support its deployment / improvement_
- _Identify recurrent issues, drive and investigate root cause analysis and coordinate transversal improvements that contributes to the mid/long-term maturity growth of the organisation_
- _Contributes to the analysis of performance indicators, prevention, support, and capitalization_
- _Contributes to the deployment of new standards and regulations_
- _Support the external certifications and associated audits_
- Analyse the data resulting from audits, return and customer complaints, alert and veto right, to prevent the risks_

**_ SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS_**
- _At least 7 years of Quality Assurance activities or senior experience in similar positions._
- _Education/Qualifications University degree (Engineering or technical disciplines) or equivalent (Electronic is preferred). _
- _Experience in Quality in Engineering/Development teams (preferable within Electronics/ Aerospace context)_
- Applications with proven experience in at least two of the following three areas will be given greater consideration:_
- _ AGILE at SCALE (SW, HW, SYSTEM Integration)_
- _ IVVQ Strategy_
- _ Standardization (Configuration Management mindset)_
- _Process Analysis and Improvement _
- _Knowledge of Quality Plan/ Quality Inspection & Test Plan_
- _Quality Standards ISO 9001 / AS9100 and AQAP 2110 knowledge_
- _Strong time management and organizational skills_
- _IT tools (MS Office)_
- _Key attitudes: Good analytical and synthetic mind, ability to persuade on transversal topics (influence management), autonomous, rigorous, pragmatic, ability to stepping back in order to anticipate problems, capacity to work with multicultural teams_
- _Ability to speak fluently in English_
