Consumer Plant in Santa Palomba (RM) is looking for an **R&D Scientist** for the **Skin Health** team to be hired with a **permanent **contract.
The Scientist will take part in projects linking production at the Pomezia site to brand strategy, targets, and problem resolution methods with demonstrated rigor and deep organizational knowledge whilst embedding sustainability into all actions

Namely, he/she will:

- Develop a technical expertise in product design/formulation and process development/process scale-up
- Participate in pipeline activities
- Participate in technical project work including scale-up activities and analysis with hands-on involvement
- Participate in cross-functional project team discussions defining and coordinating deliverables (e.g.: R&D, Business and Supply Chain ) and to define project resources
- Connection with end-to-end R&D functions defining the execution pathway and ensuring deliverables remain on track and support technical problem solving
- Draft and execute peer reviewed manuscripts, tech reports
- Follow standards and quality, medical and regulatory requirements.
- Develop understanding of formulation technology and chemical science
- Optimize formulated ingredients to meet cost objectives and to manage availability of raw materials.
- Monitor equipment operations and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory. (if applicable)
- Coordinate day-to-day interaction with global Hubs and/or external development partnerships (as needed)

**Qualifications**
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy.
- Fluent English required
- At least 1 year of previous working experience in R&D Reformulation and/or Product Development or related areas is required.
- Knowledge of process design and experimental testing design (DOE) will be considered a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a global environment
- Strong passion for science, technology, innovation and problem
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and influencing skills.
