Within Robotics and Industrialized Solutions Business Line, we are looking for a S ubsea Pumping System Lead
The Subsea Pumping System Lead will be responsible for the design of SUBMERGED PUMP MODULES developed by Saipem in collaboration with its partners/subcontractors.

Tasks
Preparation of subsea pumps technical documents, including specifications and data sheets
Analysis of proposal and design documentation issued by suppliers and partners addressing:

- Technical aspects of rotating equipment, i.E. hydraulics, rotodynamics, structural mechanics, and related ancillaries and qualification procedures.
- Manufacturing and test (Inspection and test plan, NDT/NDE procedure and report, Components, subassemblies and Overall Pump and Motor test procedure and report)
- Verification of interfaces of the rotating equipment with the other disciplines involved in the pump module, i.E. process, control system, structural and piping, electrical

Follow up during Subsea Pump module delivery, i.E.
- management of the technical interface with Supplier and with internal involved disciplines (management, process, electrical, Instrument and control, Structural and piping)
- witnessing of manufacturing and testing stages

Technical interface for the subsea pump module towards customers or other third parties, including the analysis of any documents and requirements received during the tender phase in order to contribute to the definition of system architectures and to the estimation of components for the areas of competence

Experience
Rotodynamic principles
Single and Multistage Pumps and pumping systems
Standard and hydrodynamic bearings
Casing design, hydraulic connections and relevant sealings
Pump / motor coupling systems
Interaction of the Pump and Motor with the process system in which is installed including pumps installed in parallel and in series.
Regulation of the pumps

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Flexibility, teamwork
Knowledge of mechanical engineering SW (e.G., Autocad, Inventor, Ansys) are required.
Understanding of the subsea environment and its interaction with the pump, motor, and related accessories and auxiliary devices is preferred
Full availability to short and long term international mobility

**Contract type**:
permanent, salary package commensurate with the level of experience
